How can it be that summer is already over?! Today is the first day of school for Thomas and Claire. 1st and 2nd grade!
I can tell that Claire is a ball of nerves. She's been pulling, twisting, and holding her hair again for the past week. This was a problem last fall when she started Kindergarten and it got better as the year went on, so I'm hopeful she won't pull ALL of her hair out! Despite the anxiety, the only tears out the door were from Elise!

I can't believe how "grown up" they look! Hugs to Elise! Dad was just saying that he was so upset when Aunt Denise and Uncle Don went to school, he snuck out of the house and went to their school and into their classroom. Grandma got a call to come pick him up. He was not quite 4 years old!
I love the picture with Elise! I hope Claire and Tom have fun today!
Awww...they all are getting so big! Cute pictures! Sophie cried this morning when we dropped Carolina off at school. She said "I wanted to go to school...I don't wanna go home!" Broke my heart! But believe me, I am enjoying the lack of sibling fighting!
